i've taken a brief break from listening to 2008 (and missed 2007) releases and the glut of compilations i previously mentioned in the "what are you listening to?" thread to absorb the wonderful john fahey compiled "american primitive, vol. 2: pre-war revenants 1897-1939," which has produced the following gem:
