This is from a recent interview with Paul Scheer:

BWE: First things first - Human Giant. Where are you guys at with that?
Paul: Well Human Giant has been picked up for its third season, which is awesome, but Aziz (Ansari) has also booked a part on a new spin-off for The Office, so that is causing some problems scheduling-wise. We’re trying to figure out how to juggle both things. We would have already been in production for the third season, but we’re waiting until we see what Aziz is doing.
Has anyone heard anything about the season two DVD?

This is great! I can't wait for the third season whenever its finished, I was scared that it was gone for good. Hopefully MTV would spread the word about it more.

It's true! Hopefully it will work out, schedule-wise. We are obviously really happy/excited for Aziz. No word on a Season 2 DVD yet.

Wasn't he also supposed to be on Scrubs?

I had assumed there would be no more HG, so this is indeed great news.

I thought he had a recurring role on Scrubs and The Office spinoff. So I also had assumed no HG S3, but I am very happy that there will be a third season.

Hey Jason:

This is probably quite premature but, aside from Aziz's scheduling conflicts, can you tell us anything else, i.e. how many eps. are called for? And more $$$?

Good to hear the show is still alive. I look forward to a third season and to Aziz's role on the new Office spin off.

Were they talking about how they got robbed? I read about that on Aziz's blog. First Tim Heidecker gets stabbed, then Human Giant is robbed... Is there a conspiracy to commit crimes against funny comedians going on?

a) The status of a Season Two DVD

b) When Season Three starts production

?

i want season two to come out on dvd so much i don't care if the set is non-anamorphic like the first season set.
