Hey gang,

I'm taping my first comedy album tomorrow at the Fake Gallery and would love for you to come out. There will be beer, fun, and laughs provided for the low, low cost of $5. Yes, $5. My featured guests will be Matt Dwyer and Jen Kirkman doing short sets before I perform a longer one for the recording.

Show starts at 9 and will wrap up around 10:30, so you'll still have a whole Friday night to go get shitty in a bar afterwards and make out with a hobo. But first, how about a beer and a laugh?

The details:

Friday, July 11, 2008
9:00pm
The Fake Gallery
4319 Melrose Ave
Los Angeles, CA

Hope to see you there!

Yours,
Matt

Oh! That gives me an idea! Since I'm having such a hard time finding someone to go with me, I'll just find a hobo on the street and pay his way in. Though I don't know if I'll have the patience to wait till after the show to make out with him.

I won't be able to make it, but you'll have an amazing set! God has pre-ordained it.

BTW, the other night, I had to go up between Kyle Kinane and Matt Braunger. That's the baby comic's version of a doing kamikazi dive while imbedded in shit sandwich- in other words, an unenviable task.

I wish I were in LA for this. Can someone record it for me?

Bump!

There's only one recording available Meen, sadly. And we're keeping it in a vault until 2050.

Just wanted to say thanks to everybody who came out last night. The show came off amazing because of you and Ryan (the soundman) tells me the tape sounds great. You rock.

Best,
Matt
