There was a great lord of the rings pinball machine at the movie theater I used to work at.

I liked it more than the movies.

No, Judge Dredd is still sitting in the living room, but once I busted 2 billion points, I grew kind of weary of it, becase I know I'll never come close to that again.

I was offered World Cup Soccer 94 as a trade, but...naw. As it is, I'm thinking of trying to sell it (it has the eagle on the backboard, which should add an extra 100 bucks to its value or so), stashing the money and waiting for a good offer for another Widebody from the same era.

At this point, I'd still trade it for Dr Who or The Shadow, though. Maybe even Whodunnit, although I suspect it doesn't have the depth to sustain months of play. I'll go to the Swedish pinball society and check right now. Thanks for reminding me.

World Cup Soccer 94 was the first game that me and my friends got hooked on. Good stuff!

I just suspect WCS94 might be a shallow game in the long run and since my interest in actual football (you know, with your feet) is close to nil, it seems like a bad idea. It's not a game I mind playing when I find it, but I just don't think that I should own it.

Yeah, the goal gets tiresome after a while and the ramps (heter det så?) don't give me much of a boner.

I'm a shallow player.

I beat Metroid Pinball!

It was super hard. No one cares.

I pretty much made this thread because my brother was going to buy an Eight Ball Deluxe, which is like my favorite game around but the damn old lady sold it out from under him before he got over to get it! Rotten old broad!

Damn, that sucks.

On a similar - but entirely different - note, when I popped into the Swedish Pinball Society's pages I saw a Star Trek- TNG machine going for what I thought was an incredible price, but then it turned out that it was listed, incongruously, in Danish Crowns and with the exchange rate (not to mention getting it here), it was not a good deal at all.

Another Danish seller had a meticulously restored and upgraded Indy machine (http://www.duke-of-pinball.com/pins4sale_ij4.html) for 4,000 Euro, which is a lot of money (about 6,500 dollars), but not that unreasonable once you see what they've done to it. Plus, they're entertaining offers, so you can haggle a bit. Man, that would be my dream machine, right there.
