SF Sketchfest, the San Francisco Comedy Festival, began accepting applications starting July 1st to perform in the 8th Annual festival, running from January 14th-February 1st, 2009. SF Sketchfest accepts submissions from sketch comedy groups, solo sketch/character performers, one-person shows, improv groups, short sketchy self-produced plays, alternative comedy acts, musical comedy acts, and stand-up comedians.
To apply, submit a demo DVD or VHS (no longer than 20 minutes, please), along with an application fee of $20 (postmarked between July 1st-September 15th, 2008) or $30 (postmarked between September 15th-October 15th, 2008) and a downloadable application form.
All applicants will be contacted between November 15th and December 15th regarding their participation. Thank you!
