Hey Everybody-

I am coming to the San Francisco Punchline this week to record my first album.

I am doing shows from Wednesday November 5 - Saturday November 8. We are recording on Friday November 7 and Saturday November 8.

The very funny Nikki Glaser will be there too. I was last there in February and I had the best time I could ask for. I hope some of you can come out (especially for Friday and Saturday).

If anyone has album title suggestions please let me know. "The New Mulaneyum" isn't too egotistical, right? Right?!

CD Taping! Excellent. You could call it John Moolaney and have cow themed cover art.

How about a man dressed in Victorian garb laying down his cape over a puddle that John's about to cross.

Album title: "After you, Mulaney..."

(These are all good ideas)

I kind of love the last one. I think it should be called "Strawberry Alarm Clock" just as long as you do the joke! Or "Give Me a Ride" based on the Polish dude who wanted a ride. I'll think about more...

I'll be working the box office at the Thursday one.

It will also be a kissing booth, but only if you say the secret code phrase "I bought tickets online".

it means that i might have soiled myself due to election-related... issues. i may or may not have the resolve or drive to clean myself up by thursday. we'll just have to wait and see.

When it seemed it couldn't get any worse, they played the grossest song I've ever heard. "Pony" by FAR?

sorry! i forgot it was a live broadcast and i knew what they were gonna be talking about.

seriously, i wish he was able to leave a lot sooner. i think he ended up staying about an hour there and they barely let him interject.

edit: FORGET IT! THEY MIGHT BE PRE RECORDING (he was going to another station, this was a link to that)

I can't decipher exactly what you're trying to say, darryl, but despite those horrible radio guys, hearing John was a delight. I really haven't seen him much, so I appreciated listening to this (and really look forward to the CD).

Back to the radio guys for a second, I picture a scene where that sidekick guy and the producer spent about an hour one day determining exactly how to set the levels and how far away from the mic he should talk to sound as much like Artie Lange on Stern as possible.

Went to the 10 p.m. show last night - awesome. Mulaney was hilarious, and Glaser did a completely different set from the last time I saw her a few months ago. We also didn't get tickets ahead of time and managed to get in without trouble, although I would not recommend being as lazy and shiftless as I am.
