i am in town from nyc for a couple months doing a play here and need to see some good stand up. i like sketch and improv as well... i don't know anyone or anything about the comedy scene, besides hannibal, who is great btw. any suggestions on where to go? i'm staying near the hancock building.
oh what is the flex pass and empty bottle? THANKS for your help, i'm excited to be here!

flex pass is $100 to see 6 of pretty much any comedy show at Lakeshore Theatre. If you're only here for a couple months, you don't need it. But there's some great shows coming up there you'll wanna go to, check the <a href="http://www.lakeshoretheater.com/default.aspx">website</a>.
You MUST see The Reckoning.
You MUST see TJ & Dave. (but call ahead to buy tickets, and show up at least a half hour in advance for good seating)
And of course go to a few Chicago Underground shows!
