So I got my ticket for the Friday show via my new flex pass and I'm super stoked

Eugene's myspace says he'll be recording a new comedy album on both nights

I assume this means he's recording a CD/DVD ala Werewolves and Lollipops perhaps, because his sets usually involve some visual bits

maybe Eugene himself will clear this up for us...

I came here to post something about the upcoming album recording, only to find it has already been listed. How wonderful.

I am only recording a CD, I don't plan on recording a DVD as well. And Kumail and Larry Murphy will be opening.

That sucks for you.. and me because I'm supposed to go Saturday as well and was gonna use my flex pass for that show????(I don't mind paying but I kinda did already, right?)

I also read that Aziz's show say "no pass no comp" but I already got my ticket via my flex pass???

Ritter can you clear this up, i don't think we AST members should get some kinda special treatment but then again we should...

I was fueled by too much vino last night but what i was trying to say is...

I live around the corner from the theater and if people wanted to stop by and have a beer before the show to let me know(my place is small and the beer will most likely be the high life)

now back to my hangover...

ah i see. well i'll be at the show to support eugene. i've seen him probably 25 times. i'm excited that a few of my fellow new yorkers are coming through the next couple of weeks. this way i'll merge into the scene here and hopefully soon discover chicago stand-ups...

yeah kumail was great. i can't believe those idiots in the front. they actally had to get kicked out. sucks they had to waste so much time...

if you guys don't know larry does the whole, "new to stand-up" thing as a taxi driver from staten island back in nyc. doing it as himself works a lot better than the other character.

eugene was great. the old and the new material. i hope tonight goes better for him though. i know he flubbed his delta bit, hopefully he'll get it out right tonight.

ps- did anyone else see aziz ansari and nick kroll in the house? i said whats up to aziz but the bartender told me both were there last night.
