I feel like Chicago ASTers don't know what they're missing sometimes in terms of the local stand-up here but may just not know what's happening around town so much. So this thread is dedicated to individuals letting everyone know what shows are happening. In the next few days, I'm going to be forcing other comedians to get on here who really need to be seen by comedy fans to post their shows and hopefully, this will be a regular thing and fans of comedy living here will have the option of seeing a show any night of the week. This thread can also be used as a way to let people know of regular showcases and other booked shows. So here we go...

Kumail is dropping in on Nov. 6 before his weekend opening for Eugene Mirman's DVD recording at The Lakeshore.

All I'm saying is it's a great room with great comedians.

I just wanted to promote a showcase I'll be in on October 30th at the Edge. Should be at 10:30. The Edge is at 777 N Green St. And it's a Halloween show, so all the performers will be going up as a character. Mine will have a real life mustache.

I'll have to hit up Lincoln Lodge soon.

Is the DVD recording happening on both Friday and Saturday shows? Or is it one show in particular?
